A week ago, the $RIDGE core team was contacted by Dragoje, who is working on a donation for Dusan for medical needs. The $RIDGE team has teamed up with RMDoxx and the INUFORCE (represented by Kenny who is a $cptinu and $ridge holder)!
We have donated a total of $3,000 to Dusan!
– For treatment, examinations & diagnostics, stem cell treatments, neurorobotics, neurostimulator, orthopedic accessories, supplements, medical supplies, physical therapy & travel expenses.
Dusan, born May 6, 1993. in Donji Žabar.
A smiling and cheerful person, he played sports since his early ages and was an excellent student. His love for animals motivated him to get a degree in veterinary, at the Novi Sad University. After finishing his studies, he got a job as a veterinarian, has a wife and two children.
At the end of July 2021, Dušan had a terrible accident and after jumping into the water at the swimming pool in Brčko he got hurt, having gotten a fracture of the cervical spine and paralysis of the arms and legs. On the same day, he underwent surgery in Tuzla and the medics diagnosed him with a fracture from the second to the fourth spinal vertebra with compression of the spinal cord. Despite the fact that the surgeons were satisfied with the operation, his condition worsened by pneumonia and he had to be connected to a respirator. Doctors gave him a very little chance of surviving.
He was transferred to the Emergency Center of Novi Sad, where the staff have put a lot of efforts for saving his life. After 40 days, he was successfully separated from the respirator and then transferred to the Rehabilitation Clinic in Belgrade. He was able to move his arms and the smile on his face and faith made him stronger.
He needs funds for treatment, examinations & diagnostics, stem cell treatments, neurorobotics, neurostimulator, orthopedic accessories, supplements, medical supplies, physical therapy & travel expenses.
In order for Dušan to continue with his treatment and rehabilitation, he needed us all!
